New Arrivals

Animals and corals that just came into the store. Stock changes fast, so call or ask before you make the trip.

New arrivals are the animals and corals that just came into our store on Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill, Queens. This board shows the ones we’ve posted. Stock changes fast, though, so call or ask before you make the trip.

The new arrivals board

Each card shows the animal, a photo when we have one, and the date it was last updated. See one you like? Tap “Ask about this animal” on the card, and the form fills in the name for you.

Don’t see what you’re after? Check back soon. You can also ask about an animal and we’ll tell you what’s in.

Fish and corals that just came in

Whether you keep saltwater or freshwater fish, we carry both. We also hand-pick selected corals. What’s in the tanks changes with every delivery, so give the store a call to hear what’s new.

When we have a fish delivery, we go live on Instagram as we open the boxes. Watch along from home, or come in person and hand-pick your fish right out of the box.

Watch us unbox new arrivals

Curious what unboxing a new shipment looks like? In this video from our YouTube channel, we open up our newest set of fish, from freshwater basics to stunning saltwater beauties.

The video only loads when you press play. Our channel also has more unboxings and animal spotlights.

Reptiles, fish and corals on the board

What turns up depends on what just came in. For example, the board can include:

  • Geckos, like crested geckos and New Caledonian giant geckos
  • Other lizards
  • Saltwater and freshwater fish
  • Hand-picked corals for reef tanks

Want the full picture? See our reptiles, our reef and saltwater fish, or our freshwater fish. Also, a new animal needs food, so check our live and frozen feeders before you head home.

Ask about new arrivals before you visit

The quickest way to check on an animal is to call the store. You can also send a question from our Ask about an animal page. Tell us what you keep and what you’re looking for, and we’ll get back to you.

Walk-ins are always welcome during store hours, and no appointment is needed. If you’d rather plan ahead, you can send a visit request. It’s optional, and we’ll get back to you to confirm.
