Hand-picked corals
We hand-pick selected corals for the store. So when you come in, you can see each piece in person before you take it home.
Looking for a certain coral, fish or clean-up crew? Ask about an animal and we’ll tell you what’s in.
Delivery day, live on Instagram
When a fish delivery arrives, we go live on Instagram. That way you can watch the boxes open from home. Or, better yet, come in person and hand-pick yours right out of the box.
Stock moves fast on delivery day, though. Before you make the trip, call the store or check the latest arrivals.

New York City’s Health Code bans keeping or selling predatory fish, including sharks (Article 161, §161.01 and §161.09(e)).
We only sell animals that are allowed in NYC, and we can’t source, hold or order banned species for anyone. This is general information, not legal advice.

Can I pick my own fish on delivery day?
Yes. When a fish delivery comes in, we go live on Instagram, and you’re welcome to come in and hand-pick right out of the box. Call first if you’re coming from across the city.
Is a coral or fish I saw online still here?
Maybe not, because saltwater stock moves quickly. Before you make the trip, call the store or send a short note from the Ask about an animal page.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk-ins are always welcome during store hours, so come see the reef tanks whenever it suits you. If you’d rather plan ahead, send a visit request and we’ll get back to you to confirm.
